1. Information You Enter Into Eggspert
Eggspert may allow you to enter information such as hatch names, species or presets, egg counts, incubation dates, incubator settings, temperature and humidity readings, notes, reminders, candling results, hatch results, and related incubation records.
Eggspert is designed so hatch data can be stored locally on your device. This information is used to provide the app's tracking, reminder, history, statistics, and reporting features.
2. Notifications
If you enable notifications, Eggspert may schedule local notifications for incubation events such as egg turning, candling, lockdown, hatch day, and custom reminders.
You can control Eggspert notifications in the app and through your device settings.
3. Advertising
The free version of Eggspert may display advertisements provided through Google AdMob or related Google advertising services. Advertising providers may process device, advertising, diagnostic, and usage information according to their own policies and applicable platform requirements.
Eggspert Premium is intended to remove advertisements from the app while Premium is active.
4. Purchases and Subscriptions
Premium purchases and subscriptions may be processed by the platform store used to distribute Eggspert, such as Google Play or the Apple App Store. Eggspert does not directly process your full payment-card information.
The applicable app store may provide Eggspert with limited purchase or entitlement information needed to determine whether Premium features should be active.
5. PDF Reports and Sharing
If you create or share a PDF hatch report, the report may contain hatch information that you entered into Eggspert. You are responsible for choosing where and with whom you share exported reports.
6. Local Storage and Device Data
Eggspert may use local device storage to remember app preferences and hatch information, including settings such as notification preferences and temperature units.
Deleting Eggspert, clearing app data, resetting the device, or otherwise removing local app storage may remove locally stored Eggspert information unless another backup method is available.
7. Children
Eggspert is a general-purpose incubation tracking tool and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.
8. Third-Party Services
Eggspert may rely on third-party services for functions such as advertising, app distribution, purchases, and platform notifications. Those services may process information under their own privacy policies and terms.
9. Data Security
Reasonable efforts are made to design Eggspert with privacy and data protection in mind. However, no device, software, network, or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
